         ‘ Plant pathology is the study of plant disease and the abnormal condition           that constitute plant disorders.

          ‘Plant pathology is the science that deals with the study of diseases of plants, their development and  control.

       6) Phycology :- Study of Algae

       7) Microbiology:- Study of micro- organism


Objectives of Plant Pathology:-

1)                 To Study the diseases or disorders caused by biotic and abiotic agent

2          To  study the mechanism of disease development by pathogen.

3)        To Study interaction between plant and pathogen

4         To develope suitable management stratagies fort managing the control of diseases and losses caused by them
